Canadian National Railway Corporation (CNI), the rail and related transportation company said second quarter revenues rose 16% to C$2.09 billion from C$1.8 billion a year ago. Net income in the quarter rose 38% to C$534 million or C$1.13 per diluted share compared to net income of C$387 million or 82 cents per share a year ago.

Canadian National Railway Corporation, in the last one year traded as high as $63.86 in April 2010 and as low as $44.92 in July 2009. Based on the yesterday’s closing price of $61.29 the company has market cap of $28.82 billion.
